Woolworths Excursion March 2024

As part of our sustainability program we have replaced our batteries from our toys into the battery recycling bin at the centre and now it’s time to recycle the batteries properly. We organised an excursion to Woolworths to recycle the batteries at the batetry and mobile phone recycling unit.

After recycling the batteries, we went into Woolworths and had some bananas for crunch and sip. We then looked around the supermarket and the children were given the opportunity to choose a yoghurt pouch each.

Through the excursion, the children not only learnt about recycling, but also developed their social skills while interacting with various people outside of the centre
