Parramatta - Fire Brigade Visit
Little bees welcome two local Parramatta Fire Brigade to come and teach the children about fire safety. The children learnt about dialing 000 to call emergency services and explored the fire brigades special safety gear that keeps them safe if entering a building that is on fire. The children also learn about stop, drop and roll if they are exposed to fire.
As an extension, the children have been role playing being fire fighters, pretending to be putting out fires. Miss Michelle and miss Alisa also created a house with fire on the roof using red paper and masking tape.
