Parramatta - Excursion to Sing Kee Grocery Story

As we are celebrating Chinese New Year this Friday, a group of children visit the local Asian grocery store to buy some ingredients needed to make dumplings for Chinese New Year. The children were quite good little helpers as they carried the baskets and gathered the ingredients we chose. They even helped to give each ingredient from the basket to the shop keeper.

Building relationships with the local community members is a great way for the children to gain sense of community members within the local area.
