Welcome from Centre Director

My name is Camila and I am the Centre Director of Little Bees Childcare Parramatta.

I have been in the early childhood industry for many years and hold a Diploma of Children's Services. I hold my First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates. I have previously held a centre director position and am very passionate about my work.

I would like to thank you for taking an interest in our centre. At Little Bees Childcare, relationships between educators, children and families are a powerful foundation for belonging and learning.

Each child's journey is different at our service. Their identity, knowledge, understandings, skills and relationships change constantly and are the contributing factors to them becoming active members of the community. We teach the children lifelong skills to prepare them for a life beyond our service.

Our team is very dedicated and passionate and we are very welcoming. Please feel free to come and introduce yourselves. We would love to meet you and your family.

I have worked in the early childhood sector for 13 years and as an Early Childhood Teacher, I believe in fostering each child’s strengths, skills, knowledge and capabilities. Each and every child is unique and the first 5 years of their life is the most crucial part of their growth and development as a human as children learn and absorb all the information they are surrounded with from early on. I believe all children are capable in achieving anything they set their minds too and with some encouragement are able to achieve their goals in life.

Each child should be loved, valued and treated with respect. I also believe that the learning happening at the earlier stages is an integral part of their life. It builds the foundation for future learning. Therefore, this should be done in a play based where educators taken into consideration each child’s interests to help them to develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.
